POLICE have released an alert following thefts in the area.
Stonehouse theft
Thieves stole multiple power tools - worth around £1,950 - from a vehicle parked in Pearcroft Road, Stonehouse.
It is believed the incident happened between 4pm Wednesday, January 3 and 9am Tuesday, January 9.
According to police, the following tools were stolen: a Paslod nail gun worth £500, a Makita drill and impact driver worth £400, two Makita radios worth £300, a Makita 18v hammer drill worth £250, a Makita cordless planer worth £300, and a Makita electric planer worth £200.
Anyone with information can contact police quoting incident 133 of January 9, 2024.
Belle Vue Close theft
Meanwhile, thieves also stole various items from a home in Belle Vue Close.
Offenders stole cash, personal photographs, canine medication and a handbag containing a purse with bank cards.
It is believed the incident happened between 3am and 3.20am on Sunday, January 7 with thieves entering the property through an open window.
