A POPUALR Stroud town centre bakery has undergone a revamp.
Family-run Hall's Bakery in King Street opened its newly revamped store on Saturday with an intention by the owners to 'diversify' their range of products.
Charlie Hall, manager, said: "We decided to go with a revamp as we believed that there are already so many cafes in town and wanted to diversify and introduce a whole new range of products that we already make for other stores to our Stroud shop.
"We do still have two tables so customers can enjoy a cup of coffee and cake or filled roll and baguette.
"We wanted to diversify and introduce more customers to our store and offer a huge range which is second to none.
"You can pop into store and still buy all of the your favourite traditional bakes like Lardy cakes, Chelsea buns or try something new like a sassy brownie - a cookie dough bottom with brownie on top which is also vegan.
"The revamp has given us so much more space in store and with this space we were able to offer a section for gluten free products and vegan cakes.
"We opened the newly revamped store on Saturday and had so much positive feedback and not to mention a lot more new faces.
"We have been so busy from the moment we opened the store until we closed and would like to thank the Stroud community for their support."
