POLICE officers have launched an appeal to help find a missing teenager.

Jaylan, aged 14 from Gloucester, has not been seen since around 3pm on Sunday, January 21 and officers are concerned for his welfare.

The teenager is considered vulnerable due to his age and his lack of contact with his family for this length of time is out of character.

Jaylan is around 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build, and has brown eyes.

He also has an afro which is short at the back and sides.

The teenager was last seen wearing black joggers and a black hooded top.

Police officers believe that Jaylan does not have access to money or a phone and may be staying with friends who do not know he has been reported missing.

Enquiries have been ongoing to locate the teenager and police are now asking the public for their help.

Anyone who has seen Jaylan or has information on his whereabouts has been asked to call police on 101 and quote incident 86 of January 23.

If you can see him at the time of calling dial 999 and ask for police.
