POLICE have issued an alert following seven incidents near Stroud on Valentine's Day. 

The first five incidents all took place in Whiteway, near Stroud. 

A strimmer was stolen from a shed and a Dewalt drill, chainsaw and hedge cutter was stolen from a garage at a property. 

A padlock had been forced on the shed while the garage window was smashed. 

Officers say the incident occurred at 8.40am on Wednesday, February 14. 

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident number 062 of February 14. 

Secondly, forced entry was made on an outbuilding. 

Drawers were pulled out but it is not yet known whether anything had been stolen. 

Police say this occurred between 6pm on Tuesday, February 13 and 12 noon the next day.

Thirdly, a garage door was prised open with the door and timber broken. 

The light sensor had been turned upside but nothing was stolen. 

Police say this occurred between 8.30pm and 11.30pm on February 14.

Meanwhile, an unlocked shed door was entered and a garden rake thrown out, although there were no reports of anything stolen. 

This occurred between the afternoon of February 13 and 9am the following day.

Finally, two padlocks were cut off a shed.

Three chainsaws, two strimmers, a pressure washer and two hedge cutters were stolen during the night.

Elsewhere, a car was entered at Delmont Grove, Stroud. 

This occurred between 6pm on Wednesday, February 13 and 7.50am the next day.

Finally, five pallets of high value electrical stock were stolen from the back of a truck, while parked in a truck stop overnight at Gloucester Services, North bound.

The lock on the door was cut and goods removed.

This happened between midnight on February 14 and 7am the next day.
