POLICE have issued multiple alerts after several incidents in the Stroud area recently.

A man knocked on the front door of a house in Trinity Road, Stroud, before saying - "It's me, David, I have the £3 I owe you."

The victim opened the door, throwing the money on the floor and pushing his way into the house. 

He stayed for a few minutes before picking up the £3 and leaving. 

The victims blue leather White Stuff handbag was stolen which contained a small bright orange purse with money and A bank card inside, which was to believed to have been in the front room.

The man was approximately six foot tall, wearing a dark hoody with red edges on it, aged roughly in their 30s or 40s. 

The incident occurred on Friday, March 1 between 6.15pm and 6.25pm.

An unlocked car was also entered at Gannicox Road. 

A man was seen going through a passenger side door before running off carrying a Sainsbury's bag. 

Loose change was stolen.

The incident occurred at 10.45pm on Saturday, March 2.

Two unlocked cars were entered and searched at Westward Road, Ebley - cash was stolen. 

This happened between 10.30pm on Sunday, March 3 and 6.30am the next day. 

Anyone with information 101 and quote incident number 072 of  March 4. 

An unlocked car was entered in London Road, where sunglasses, cigarettes and cash were stolen. 

This was captured on CCTV - police say the suspect is believed to be a prolific offender and is being dealt by them. 

This incident occurred on Wednesday, February 28.
