POLICE have issued a statement after two crashes occurred near Stroud this morning.
This comes as Stagecoach issued a warning this morning that their could be disruption to their services around Stroud following two crashes.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called to the A46 in Painswick shortly after 7am this morning (Wednesday) with a report of a two vehicle collision.
"The collision took place near to Pitchcombe and involved a motorcyclist and car.
"Those involved are currently being assessed by paramedics.
"A closure was put into place from Brockworth to Painswick while emergency services were at the scene and has since been lifted.
"We were also called at 7.30am following reports of a single vehicle collision in Painswick.
"It was reported that a car had overturned and the driver is not believed to have sustained any injuries.
"A closure was in place from Cross Hands to Painswick."
