THREE EMERGENCY road closures are in place near Stroud from today.
As of 3pm today, there is an emergency road closure in the A46 from the junction of A4173 towards Painswick.
According to a post by Gloucestershire Roads, both directions until further notice will be closed due to 'safety reasons' after a 'void appeared in the carriageway south of Pincot Lane, Pitchcombe'.
Two stretches of the A419 are also to be closed from tonight.
700 metres of the A419 from Stroudwater Eastington to Chipmans Platt roundabout (Eastington) will be shut.
A further 45 metres of the A419 from Stroudwater Eastington to Chipmans Platt roundabout to motorway (Eastington) will also shut.
Gloucestershire County Council says these closures come into force tonight at 7pm, (Monday, March 11) and will be in place until 4am on Wednesday, March 13.
