Stroud bus station
It is a demonstration of just how decimated our local services have become when it is news that the bus station is getting an upgrade which includes seats, lighting and real time information.
At one time, this would have been implicit in what had to be done to run a public transport system.
The level of destruction wreaked on us by the ongoing Government cuts to local authorities is breathtaking.
