RAINY weather at Cheltenham Festival didn’t stop racegoer fashion from being bright and bold today.
The second day of Cheltenham has historically been dubbed ‘Ladies Day’, but it’s now been renamed ‘Style Wednesday’ in a gender-neutral rebrand.
Zingy colours seemed to herald the coming of spring, with outfits in all shades of the rainbow – from vibrant yellows to vivid blues.
Camilla The Queen Consort visited the racecourse today as well as a number of celebrities including Aston Villa and England footballer Tyrone Mings, presenter Stephen Mulhern and American singer Kimberly Wyatt.
Ahead of the second race, the Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase, the Queen also came down to the parade ring to chat to some of the owners and trainers.
Other members of the royal family in attendance included Zara and Mike Tindall, the Queen’s son Tom Parker Bowles, daughter Laura Lopes and her husband Harry, alongside Camilla’s nephew Sir Ben Elliot.
Also among royal guests were Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank, and Camilla’s friend and official Queen’s Companion, Lady Sarah Keswick and the Princess Royal.
Other well-known faces included Aston Villa and England footballer Tyrone Mings, presenter Stephen Mulhern and American singer Kimberly Wyatt.
More than 250,000 people are expected to visit during the four days of the Cheltenham Races.
