A WOMAN from Stroud faces a hefty court bill for failing to identify the driver of a vehicle.
Barbara Miller, aged 41, of Highfield Road, Stroud, failed to tell police the identity of a Vauxhall Astra driver.
It was alleged the driver committed a speeding offence on the M5 near the Naas Lane bridge in Gloucester on August 9 last year.
The case was proved via the single justice procedure at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on March 5, where Miller was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £264 plus £90 in costs - a total of £1,014.
She was also given six points.
