A THRIVING farm shop near Wotton is celebrating its second year in business with an expansion and an open day.
Bennetts Farm Shop - located in Leighterton - will officially celebrate its birthday with an Easter-themed event on Saturday, March 30.
The store was set up by husband and wife Simon and Tara Best in March 2022 after transforming a barn into a farm shop.
The couple has now converted a second barn that will focus on a wider range of local produce and will also have a homeware, lifestyle, and pet section.
The new space is due to be officially opened at the Easter event next Saturday.
The free event - which is taking place from 12pm to 4pm - will include tasting samples, a children’s Easter trail (booking required), a bar and a BBQ.
Trail tickets cost £2.50 per child.

The store is also open from 8am to 6pm seven days a week.
