POLICE have released multiple alerts following incidents in Stroud.
“Suspicious” Easter eggs found in Middle Street
Police have issued a warning after “suspicious” Easter eggs were discovered in Middle Street, Uplands.
Small chocolate eggs were found in a plant pot outside the front door of a property.
According to the police alert, the eggs contained a “needle hole” where a substance was reportedly inserted, causing the chocolate egg to smell.
The alert urges members of the public to be “vigilant” and report any similar incidents to the police via 101.
Attempted theft from car in Castle Rise.
In addition, a man attempted to unlock a car in Castle Rise.
The man was described as clean shaven, wearing jeans, a jacket and a long scarf, approximately 6 ft and aged in his 20’s.
Police say he was seen trying a car door handle and believe he was attempting to steal from the car.
The incident happened at 2.24am on Wednesday, March 20.

Vehicle badges stolen in Ebley
Vehicle badges were also stolen from a car parked in Foxmoor Lane, Ebley.
Police say the incident happened by “unknown means” and occurred between midnight Sunday, March 17 and 5.45am Tuesday, March 19.
