A MAN has been sentenced after smashing windows at Stroud Jobcentre.
Arthur McAndrew, aged 66, of Wood Street, Stroud, destroyed six windows causing £6,294 worth of damage on October 31, 2022.
He pleaded guilty to one charge of criminal damage during a hearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Monday, March 25.
He was handed a suspended sentence order of 16 weeks suspended for 12 months.
McAndrew was given a 16-week jail term suspended for 12 months.
He was also ordered to take part in drug rehabilitation sessions for nine months.
