VITAL grants were given out at Stroud Rotary Club's annual community awards.
Now in their seventh year, the awards were held at the Carpenters Arms in Westrip last Tuesday March 19.
A total of £4,720 was given out as follows:
Night Angels £500
Rodborough Scouts £150
Whiteshill Rainbows £200
Charles Community Garden £500
Friends of the Black Horse £500
Read With Me £500
The Nelson Trust £500
Home Start £500
Stroud Sea Cadets £370
Hope For Tomorrow £1,000
The evening was organised by Rotarian Eric Brownbill and a vote of thanks given by president Ashley Skerten.
Funding was raised by Rotary members during the year.
