POLICE have released a statement after an incident at Stroud bus station yesterday.
Road closures were put in place at Merrywalks while emergency services attended the incident, yesterday afternoon.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called shortly before 3.30pm with a report of a concern for welfare incident with a person on a bridge.
"Members of the public helped prior to the arrival of emergency services and road closures were put in place while they were in attendance.
"The person is now safe.”
