AN INJURED woman fled through Stroud in a dressing gown this morning after an alleged assault.
Police say the was assaulted inside a property in Cashes Green and was chased by the attacker to Stroud town centre around 5am this morning, Sunday, April 21.
The woman is now receiving treatment at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for facial injuries.
A man has been arrested in connection with the incident but officers are keen to talk to anyone with information.
Police would also like to hear from anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage covering Cashes Green Road, Westwood Road and Cainscross Road.
Information can be provided to police online by completing a form on Gloucestershire police's website quoting incident 78 of April 21.
