police in Stroud made two arrests and seized class B drugs from an address in the town yesterday, Thursday January 28.

At around 3pm officers carried out a warrant at an address in College Road, Stroud and seized an amount of cannabis, believed to have a street value of around £3000, a quantity of cash was also seized.

A 22-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were arrested at the address on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and have been bailed to return to Stroud police station on March 24 pending further enquiries.

Detective Sergeant Adrian Stratton said; “Stroud Police are committed to tackling drugs offences and the types of criminality that affect the quality of life for our communities.

“We hope that this warrant and subsequent arrests show our local communities our determination to tackle these crimes. Our actions today should also act as a warning to those people involved in drugs offences that they will be brought to justice.”
