A second man has been charged following an assault in Rosebery Road in Dursley in February. The 35-year-old from Cornwall was charged with false imprisonment and perverting the course of justice at Cheltenham Magistrates Court this morning, Wednesday March 24. He has been remanded in custody.
Police were alerted to the incident, in which a 29-year-old man suffered injuries, at approximately 2am on Sunday February 14.
Detective Inspector Ian Ginn said; “This second charge is part of an ongoing investigation and we would like to encourage anyone who has any information about the incident that hasn’t yet contacted us to get in touch.”
On February 26 a 42-year-old man from Gloucester, was also charged with kidnap, false imprisonment and wounding with intent in connection to the incident.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 44 of February 14.
