Gloucestershire County Council has received a extra £1.6 million of Government money to repair the county's potholes.
The money was allocated in the recent budget, with more than £14 million given to the south west for repairing roads.
Since the start of January, Gloucestershire County Council has repaired 20,795 potholes.
Last week, 2,295 potholes were filled by 70 teams from Gloucestershire Highways.
GCC has diverted 30 per cent extra highways staff into dealing with the problem to get damage repaired as quickly as possible.
Recently repaired roads are Dudbridge Hill, the A46 Golden Cross and Culver Hill, all in Stroud and High Street in Stonehouse.
