A CAMPAIGN to educate youngsters on how to react if they find themselves under threat from a dog has now reached more than 1,500 children in Stroud.
The ‘Check B4 U Pet’ scheme was launched by SDC’s animal welfare team in 2008 in response to national fears about dangerous dogs attacking children.
Over the past three years, the team has taken their message to a host of schools in the district and say the feedback has been positive.
