AN innovative project to bring elderly residents together to stage a play about ageing has been launched by Stroud District Council and NHS Gloucestershire.
The Ageing Naturally Together (ANT) scheme will allow residents from participating care homes, day centres and sheltered housing to work with volunteer actors and musicians to produce the play about growing old healthily.
Written by volunteer musicians from Glosfolk, the play will be rehearsed over nine months in time for performances at sheltered housing schemes and community venues in spring 2011.
