CYCLISTS are being urged to do more to safeguard their bikes after more than 30 were stolen in Stroud since the start of the year.
Most were left unattended and unlocked, which is why officers are reminding owners to take steps to avoid thefts.
One option is to have the bike postcoded so it can be easily traced back.
Free bike postcoding will be staged at Bussage Police Station from 7pm – 9pm on August 17 and at Bisley Fete on Saturday, August 28.
