Police in Cheltenham are investigating a robbery at the Hales Road Stores on Hales Road this morning, Thursday August 12.
At approximately 6.20am a man entered the shop carrying a paper bag and threatened a member of staff with what is believed to be a sharp object held within the bag. He then stole £70 in cash, three bottles of whiskey and some cigarettes before leaving in the direction of Sainsburys.
The offender is described as 5ft 9” tall with short blonde hair and was wearing a grey jumper and jeans.
