ANYONE with unwanted garden tools can now donate them to the Stroud Valleys Project in Threadneedle Street to help raise money for the charity organisation.

The aim of this scheme is to not only to increase donations but also to help first time gardeners and people on low incomes by providing them with inexpensive but good quality tools.

The ideal donations would be hand held garden equipment such as spades and rakes but nothing electrical for Health and Safety reasons.

SVP will recondition items but only to an extent, so they do ask for tools in good quality condition, suitable for resale.

The products can be donated to and also purchased from Stroud Valley Eco Shop, 8 Threadneedle Street, Stroud.

The Eco Shop sells a range of goods all focused on wildlife and gardening such as seeds and bulbs.

Project Officers Nadine and Evie hope that this scheme will encourage people to get gardening and also gain support for the Stroud Valley Project organisation and the work that they do.
