JESS’S Ladies Organic Farm Milk has proved it really is the cream of the crop after bagging three more top food awards and hitting the shelves of elite London store Selfridges.

The Hardwicke-based dairy scooped one gold and two silvers respectively for their double cream, semi-skimmed and special breakfast milks at this year’s Taste of the West awards.

This came just weeks after winning two Gold medals in the Great Taste Awards – the company’s 8th such accolade in three years.

To top this, business owner Jess Vaughan has recently began supplying to Michelin starred Bristol eatery Casamia and has revealed she is selling to the secret experimental kitchens of one of the world’s best restaurants.

As well as now stocking the food hall of Selfridges, Jess was also voted a finalist in the 2010 Cotswold Food Hero category of this year’s Cotswold Life magazine Food & Drink Awards.

"It is a shame people do not know all the ladies’ names - they would have been far more deserving finalists," said Jess, who started up her business alongside her father Mike in 2006.

"It is hard work farming and marketing but it is easy with such a great product as a base.

"Attention to detail at every level really has paid off.’’ Jess’s Ladies Organic Milk is now available at 80 stores across the south west and London, including Stroud Farmers’ Market every Saturday.
