UKES Stroud is a friendly ukulele club which continues to flourish owing to its members enthusiasm for this small musical instrument.
Founded in the spring of 2010 by Norma Mills and Steve Rowley the club has enjoyed many appearances for charity at care homes, church fetes, music festivals, appearances on television and radio and now includes a thriving ukulele ceilidh band.
Club members are always willing to accept bookings and perform their repertoire to appreciative audiences.
The club meets at Pitchcombe Village Hall Nr Stroud (off the A4173) below the church on the first, third and fifth Thursday of the month throughout the year between 8.00pm and 10.00pm.
Admission is £2.00 which also includes refreshments.
