CALLOWELL Primary School PTA’s Ceilidh was greeted by the first of the summer sunshine on Saturday June 6.
A Ceilidh is an Irish or Scottish social event with folk music and dancing.
The prominent folk band Between the Acts brought gaiety and excitement with their performance, which saw people of all ages take part in the traditional dancing.
PTA member Tessa Jordan said: “I loved the band and watching everyone dance. The smiles were fantastic.”
