Bishop visits St James' Church, Quedgeley
SAINT James’ Church Quedgeley welcomed the Bishop of Tewkesbury Martyn Snow on Sunday, June 14.
The Bishop confirmed several of Saint James’ regular members and officiated at the 10.30am Eucharist service.
Father John Rector and Parish Priest Father John Ward said ‘This is the first time that Bishop Martyn has officiated at a service in Saint James’ although he has been to Chatterbox our parent and toddler group several months ago. This morning he confirmed several of our young people who are regular attendees at our 10.30am service".
Bishop Martyn commented “It is great to be back at Saint James’ Quedgeley and to see a full church. It is a wonderful celebration with three confirmation candidates who have affirmed their faith”.
