THE monthly meeting of the Stonehouse WRBL took place at the community Centre on Thursday, November 26.
In the absence of Janet Walsh the chair was taken by Sandra Sowls.
There were 28 members present for our Craft Activities afternoon.
Members had submitted entries in various categories.
These were sewing, knitting, photography, cooking and painting.
Our guests and judges for the afternoon were Anny Reed the County chairman, and her husband David.
Prizes were awarded, and David auctioned some of the exhibits for the Royal Benevolent Fund.
It was announced that at the County Conference last week our branch had won a certificate for Proficiency and Endeavour, and also one for increased membership.
Our next meeting will be on Thursday, December 17, when there will be carols and mince pies.
There will be a large hamper raffle and members are asked to contribute to this.
The Festive lunch will be on January 28.
