Proud to sponsor Quedgeley & Hardwicke CC under-11s
THE Quedgeley & Hardwicke under-11s cricket team have revealed their latest kit – proudly sponsored by Amey, who provide highways maintenance services in Gloucestershire. Sporting their new whites, the team are currently competing in matches in the Stroud & District youth league all over the county.
Club Vice Chairman and Amey PROW Officer Ian Soule said: “The lads have really looked the part in their first season of competitive cricket. The costs involved with providing sporting opportunities for young people can be a barrier to small grass roots clubs, and kind gestures such as shirt sponsorship are a massive assistance. The club now has over 20 players registered in the under-11 age group and the playing strip will get plenty of use over the coming seasons.”
Amey’s Account Director Ross Bullerwell said: “We are extremely proud to support the under-11s cricket team. It’s a partnership that is at the heart of our corporate principles. As a major employer in Gloucestershire we continue to work with community groups, clubs and charitable causes, through our community volunteering days and fundraising activities.”
