Stonehouse Gardening Club: Italian villas wow local gardeners
AT THE last meeting of the Stonehouse Gardening Club on February 7, over 20 members were inspired and warmed by the brilliant photography of Robert Bryant revealing the glowing colours of late spring villa gardens in the Italian Lakes area.
We enjoyed the sights of calm blue lakes bordered by bright azaleas and rhododendrons.
We almost heard the tinkling of cascades and fountains.
The next meeting of the Gardening Club will be on Wednesday, March 7, at Stonehouse Community Centre at 7.30pm.
The subject will be Lilies and Summer Flowering Bulbs, by Don Everitt. Visitors always welcome.
