Stonehouse Gardening Club
2018 ended with a cracker of a bang!
The club heard they have been awarded a small grant by the Rotary Club of Stonehouse to cover the cost of equipment for presentations.
We are very grateful for this and members of the gardening club committee will be at a presentation mid January to receive the cheque.
The club will also soon be embracing the new year with a brand new website which will advertise the programme and garden visits, give details of each talk, and information about joining.
The latest meeting took the form of an excellent relaxing meal at La Campagna in Stonehouse.
The next meeting will be, as always, at Stonehouse Community Centre on February 6, at 7.30, with a talk on bumblebees by Alan Wells.
The March 6 talk is on Propagation, by Andy Pedrick.
We welcome all visitors.
