WHILST I was pleased with Paul Lock’s letter (June 14) which showed we are on the same side, I would point out that I was quoting Mrs May, and as I was thinking principally of income tax, feel that I am justified.
Any increase in personal allowance, benefits the lower paid at the lowest rate, whilst it benefits the higher paid at a much higher rate.
