Mike Tindall forms one part of this year’s I’m A Celeb line up and he’s been sharing personal stories with his campmates already.

Viewers have also seen him amaze Babatúndé with his campfire-lighting skills and he’s rapped to 90s tunes.

The new series kicked off on Sunday, November 6 and Tindall has opened up about the day he met his wife Zara.

How did Mike Tindall meet his wife Zara?

In 2003, he met Zara in Sydney when he was playing in the Rugby World Cup while Zara was out there spectating.

Tindall was dropped from his World Cup rugby Semi-Final team and decided to go out for a beer with another player who had been dropped from the team plus one other.

The two he was out with had already met Zara and introduced Mike to her. He said they chatted but it wasn’t until the next year that they started to spend time with each other.

He went on to share how their first date involved plenty of alcoholic beverages.

Mike Tindall's first lunch date with wife Zara turned 'boozy'

When asked about their first date, the former England rugby player said: “First actual date? Just went out for lunch locally and (it) ended up being quite a boozy one.”

He added: “Then we figured out that we both quite like getting smashed”.

In tonight’s episode, viewers will see Babatúndé, who is scared of heights, take on his first Bushtucker trial, called ‘Horrifying Heights’.

He was voted to do the trial by members of the public.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! continues tonight on ITV at 9.15pm.
