DOVER boss Chris Kinnear insists Vanarama Conference rivals Forest Green are under-achieving.
Ady Pennock side make the long trip to in-form Dover and will face a tough test at the Crabble on Saturday with Kinnear's team posting four consecutive Vanarama Conference victories and two FA Cup wins – all with clean sheets.
Rovers are currently seventh, 10 places above Dover, but Kinnear said he was surprised by Rovers' start to the season.
He told Kent Online: “They spent a lot of money to get their squad together. I thought they would be doing a lot better than they are.”
Meanwhile, Pennock is more than happy with his side's standing after putting together an eight game unbeaten run.
He said: “I am very happy with where we are. We’ve just got to keep up the good work and if near the end of the season we’re around the play-offs anything can happen.
“We’ve put ourselves in a good position so hopefully we can keep building and it will be interesting to see where we end up.”
