THE Vanarama Conference play-offs race will go to the final day with Forest Green in pole position.
Rovers romped to a 4-2 victory at Gateshead today and a win against Dover at the New Lawn next Saturday will secure a spot in the play-offs for the first time in their history.
Rovers hold the final fifth-place position with 78 points and Macclesfield are a place and a point behind.
The prolific Jon Parkin made it 30 goals for the season with a brace and further strikes by Kurtis Guthrie and Rob Sinclair put Ady Pennock's side on course for a thrilling match next Saturday.
