FOREST Green defender James Jennings insists the heavily dubbed ‘El Glosico’ is ‘just another fixture’.
Second-placed Rovers go toe-to-toe with the National League leaders on Saturday at the World of Smile Stadium, but Jennings, who impressively notched up his fourth goal of the season in the 3-1 victory over Dover Athletic, is ready for the hotly anticipated Gloucestershire derby.
He said: “We’ll treat ‘El Glosico’ like any other game, that’ll be our mindset and we’ll go into it full of confidence; it’s just another fixture.
“We’re on a good run and we’ve got a full week to be working on it on the training ground, and we’ll make sure we get things right.
"I’m looking forward to it, so bring it on."
