FOREST GREEN chairman Dale Vince is against National League plans to have a promotion final triple-header at Wembley next May - and moves to extend the play-offs to six teams the following season.
The league launched a four-year strategy to grow the game at their annual congress last weekend.
And Vince said: "I’m not sure three finals on one day is a good idea - for the pitch if nothing else. But it will also detract from the occasion.
"The new play-off proposals are a bit something and nothing in my view. I do think the Conference should look at the proposals of the EFL, specifically the reduction of league size to 20 and elimination of mid-week games - I think that’s a great idea and one the Conference should consider."
