TRANMERE boss Micky Mellon says the key word he has been using with the squad is 'focus' ahead of Sunday's National League Promotion Final at Wembley against Forest Green.
National League runners-up Tranmere finished nine points ahead of Forest Green, but Mark Cooper's side took four points off their rivals, including a 1-0 win at Prenton Park last month.
And Mellon, who was linked to the Forest Green job three years agao, told Tranmere Player HD: "We're delighted to have an opportunity to contest a final with a chance to earn a promotion.
"It was the first objective at the start of the season and the players have achieved that, so now it is all about getting the preparation right and making sure the players are ready for what will be a fantastic occasion.
"The key word is focus, in the way that we train and we play, the players all have jobs to do and the word focus is one we use all the time."
