NOTTS COUNTY are believed to offered defender Haydn Hollis and cash to sign Forest Green captain Liam Noble.
Notts have said they made a bid of £100,000 for Noble,26, which they believed would match League Two rivals Rovers' asking price, but chairman Dale Vince dismissed that claim.
The SNJ now understands Kevin Nolan's side have made another bid, with the offer of Hollis included in the deal.
Hollis made 38 appearances last season after he came through the Magpies' academy.
