COACH Chris Frapwell felt Dan Robinson produced a solid run to finish third Britain at the BUPA Great North Run on Sunday.
Robinson, who finished 11th at the World Championships in Osaka, Japan, clocked a time of 64mins 39secs to finish 12th overall.
Frapwell said: "The bottom line for Dan is that it was only five weeks ago that he ran the marathon in Japan.
"He took two weeks off after that and has only b een running once a day since then, so I think it was a solid run."
