STUART FLEETWOOD was afforded warm praise from Cambridge Utd boss Jimmy Quinn after his hat-trick ended the U's unbeaten start to the season at The New Lawn on Saturday.
Fleetwood followed his brace against Stevenage by striking on 36, 50 and 72 minutes to take his season tally to 10.
Cambridge substitute Lee Boylan struck an injury-time consolation on a wretched day for Quinn, "That was the best movement I have seen off a striker at this level for a long time," said Quinn.
Meanwhile, Quinn's counterpart Jim Harvey was delighted to see his side make it two wins in a week and was pleased with the flourishing partnership that is developing between Fleetwood and Mark Beesley.
Harvey said: "Mark Beesley was excellent with his weight of pass, his vision and awarenees, and there's a nice little combination coming together up front.
"Everyone behind them also released them and did their jobs, so it was a whole team effort."
"Although Stuart will take the credit, he's missed a couple, which would concern me a little bit.
"But he's finding composure in his finishing now so that's good."
