Brimscombe & Thrupp 3-1 Reading City
Brimscombe & Thrupp climbed to the top of the Hellenic Premier Division with a home victory over Reading City.
Jack Smith gave Brimscombe the lead after 14 minutes before he got his second to double the hosts lead on 28 minutes to give the Lilywhites a comfortable half time advantage.
Brimscombe made it hard for themselves as Reading pulled one back on the hour mark through Ousman Darboe.
The hosts settled any nerves and put the game to bed five minutes from time when Ashley Caldwell scored a penalty to fire Brimscombe to the summit.
