WILL HAWES bagged a hat-trick as Slimbridge continued their unbeaten run in pre-season, defeating BetVictor Southern Premier South side Weston-super-Mare, writes Rob Peck.

Scott Bartlett's Weston upped their game after the break, but found Slimbridge keeper Lewis Adams in top form. Weston bagged a late consolation when former Forest Green striker Issac Pearce fed Sam Hendy who fired beyond sub keeper Joe Wright from close range.
