Conrad Logan – five

Distribution good at times and almost saved a penalty in the first-half. Another match without a clean sheet.

Kevin Dawson – six

Did okay and made some decent inroads from defence as an auxiliary right-back. Got forward, when space opened up.

Chris Stokes – eight

Back at the New Lawn for a second spell. Imperious in the air,but will be frustrated he didn’t mark his second debut with a goal.

Farrend Rawson – five

Caught cold at times and unusually not as comfortable with his positioning.

Liam Kitching – five

The odd flash of a pass, but far from his best.

Ebou Adams – five

Off the boil and hooked with 20 minutes to go.

Carl Winchester – eight

Forest Green’s energetic midfielder drove his team on from the get-go. Another outstanding performance.

Rob Hall – five

Showed some early promise in the number 10 role but faded and was hooked in the second-half.

Odin Bailey – six

No worldie strikes this weekend. Neat and tidy, but failed to get enough of the ball.

Josh March – six

Worked hard and was rewarded with a goal – confidence boosted by a bus load of mates who livened up the crowd on the terraces.

Jack Aitchison – six

Always hunting the ball and was a whisker away from scoring at the death.

Subs

Aaron Collins (on for Hall 57 min) – six

Missed a gilt-edged opportunity but induced a smart save from the edge of the box.

Elliott Frear (on for Dawson 70min) – six

Added attacking impetus as Rovers went for broke.

George Williams (on for Adams 70min) – six

A welcome return following his broken leg on the opening day of the season. His presence could prove to be pivotal as Rovers look to address their slump in form.
