THE future looks bright for Randwick Football Club U15 team as they celebrated winning the Severn Valley Youth League U15 C trophy.

At their annual presentation event on Sunday 11 June, the team won 12 games, drew three and lost one to be crowned winners on the final day of the season.

Proud coach Jonathan Edwards said: "What a fantastic achievement for the Under 15 team and Randwick Football Club.

"I am so proud of this team and it feels wonderful to win the league and be Champions on the last day of the season.

"This has been an eight-year project with highs and lows, but this is a reward for all the players hard work and resilience.

"They are such a lovely group and so humble and they deserve this. This will bond them even closer together as they achieved this as a team and will remember this for life.

"A big thank you to my assistant Adam Smith, all the players, parents, supporters, family friends and to the club who have supported us for the last eight years.

"We have a really talented bunch of youngsters here, who are continuing to blossom and the future looks bright for Randwick Football Club."
